The Pledge to End Racism

a personal commitment to work on ourselves and with others throughout our community to address racism in all its forms.

The Bay Center has joined the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR) to bring the Pledge to End Racism to the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

The Pledge to End Racism is a training program started by the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond, based on the Birmingham Pledge. The program consists of weekly two-hour sessions. They will be held at the UUFR in White Stone each Tuesday evening, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, April 2 through May 7.

Participants learn together, challenge one another, and engage in real change. Moving from education to action, participants commit to greater racial justice throughout our community. There is no cost to participate, but everyone must register.
