Loved Ones Remembered

TUESDAY DECEMBER 1st, 2026

5:30-6:30pm

To remember those who have passed, we will gather together to honor their memory by reading their names, ringing a bell, lighting a candle, and sharing a moment in time together. Following the ceremony, we invite you to stay for light refreshments and sweets as we continue in community.

If you are unable to join us in person, please submit a name to be included in the ceremony.

From a recent participant of the Loved Ones Remembered program:

I would like to thank the Bay Center for the beautiful and thoughtful Remembering Loved Ones program they hosted last week at the Kilmarnock Town Park.  After just losing my brother, I was grateful to attend a community event where I could meet other people who are experiencing loss.  The visual of lighting candles and hearing the names of our loved ones read out loud helped me truly understand that I am not alone.  We are so lucky to have a non-profit like the Bay Center in our area that is deeply committed to supporting our communities in a myriad of ways that "inspire personal growth, healing, & well-being".  From their annual Remembering Loved Ones event to their ongoing programs in grief support, meditation, and more, their work is timely and deeply appreciated.
